COVID-19 PROTOCOLS
At Riverview Home Inspections, we take the Covid-19 virus seriously. We follow all current Health Canada recommendations in order to keep everyone safe and comfortable during the inspection process.
WHAT TO EXPECT THE DAY OF YOUR HOME INSPECTION
We ask that all clients attending the inspection respect social distancing and wear a mask to protect themselves and everyone involved whenever possible. We also ask that you please limit the number of attendees to one or two people. We are fine if you are not comfortable attending the home inspection and will be happy to review our finding with you by phone.

At Riverview Home Inspections we want this to be a valuable and easy experience whether you choose to attend or not. As always, clients will be notified of an changes moving forward. We are here to assist you and answer any questions you might have.

COMPANY POLICY
Our Inspectors have/will:

not experience Covid-19 or symptoms or any illness for 2 weeks prior to inspection.
-
not travelled internationally within the past two weeks
-
wash and sanitize their hands prior to inspection
-
wear a medical face mask and latex gloves
-
encourage clients to also wear a face mask and gloves
-
follow social distancing guidelines and encourage clients to do the same
-
follow public health guidelines and not shake hands
-
encourage limited attendees to the inspection
-
ask if anyone attending the inspection has experienced any illness or Covid-19 symptoms in the two weeks prior to the inspection
-
ask if anyone attending the inspection has travelled internationally in the two weeks prior to inspection
HOME PREPARATION PRIOR TO INSPECTION
Our inspector prefers to limit the amount of contact they have with the homeowner's items. In order to facilitate this, we ask that the the homeowner clears closets and storage areas to allow us to easily access attic space, electrical panels, furnace and water heater, water meter, and under all sinks. Please keep any area requiring inspection obstruction-free.

Please turn on all lights prior to our arrival and open all interior doors.
